The Kimla Regency is Kimla’s heavy-duty CNC router for aluminum, composites, thick plastics and other dense materials. A welded and gusseted steel frame and gantry carry spindles up to 26 HP, and standard tables run up to 10 ft wide and 40 ft long. Choose helical rack-and-pinion drives, or Kimla’s optional MagLev linear drives for 5,000 IPM rapids and a listed repeatability of 0.00004″. The Regency is designed and assembled by Kimla in Poland and sold and supported in Canada by Mikon Machinery.
The Regency runs Kimla’s own CNC controller with integrated CAD/CAM and Kimla’s path-optimization routines. Kimla’s Dynamic Analysis of Vectors control looks ahead across consecutive tool-path segments and raises speed through the transitions where limits allow, so the machine holds a higher average feed rate on complex paths instead of slowing at every short segment. If your shop already programs in another CAD/CAM package, ask a Mikon specialist about post-processor support before you order.

Standard work areas run up to 10 ft (3,048 mm) wide and 40 ft (12.2 m) long, and larger custom sizes are available.
The standard helical rack-and-pinion drives give 3,600 IPM rapids and 0.001″ repeatability. The optional MagLev linear drives raise rapids to 5,000 IPM, with a listed repeatability of 0.00004″. Achievable accuracy across a large table also depends on temperature control and foundation.
Spindle options go up to 26 HP, and the Regency can be fitted with an automatic carousel or linear tool changer. Multiple spindle configurations are available.

MagLev linear drives move each axis with magnetic linear motors instead of a rack and pinion. With no gears or pinions in the drive train, there is no backlash or gear wear, which allows the higher speeds, acceleration and repeatability listed for the MagLev option.
The Regency is the heavy-duty model, with tables up to 10 x 40 ft, spindles up to 26 HP and optional MagLev linear drives. The Madonna is Kimla’s compact router, with work areas up to 82″ x 146″ and spindles up to 13 HP.
