Kimla Veyron CNC Knife Cutter

Kimla Veyron CNC Knife Cutter

The Veyron is marketed as the fastest flatbed knife cutter in the world. With optional MagLev linear drives it reaches 10,000 IPM rapids and 590 in/s² (about 1.5 g) acceleration; the standard rack-and-pinion version runs at 3,600 IPM. Beds are customizable up to 106″ wide and 315″ long, and the head takes oscillating, drag, kiss-cut and V-cut knives, creasing wheels, rotary cutters and routing spindles up to 3 kW. The Veyron is designed and assembled by Kimla in Poland and sold and supported in Canada by Mikon Machinery.

The Veyron runs Kimla’s CNC control with real-time diagnostics and Windows-based CAD/CAM with nesting, operated from a 21″ touchscreen. Kimla’s Dynamic Analysis of Vectors control looks ahead across consecutive tool-path segments and raises speed through the transitions where limits allow, so the machine holds a higher average feed rate on complex paths instead of slowing at every short segment. Camera registration and barcode/QR program loading are available for print-and-cut work.
